In today’s liturgy, we continue reading in
the Gospel of St. John a portion of Jesus’
farewell that He delivered to His Apostles at the
Last Supper. In His last testament in addition to
the gifts of love and peace, Jesus leaves the

His own presence among us under the forms of
consecrated bread and wine.

Dear Parishioners and Friends,
Today's Gospel tells us of the sad farewell
that took place between Jesus and His
apostles at the Last Supper. Jesus left a will, as
it were, a commandment of love, encouraging
all to love one another with the same love with
which He has loved us.
