About the Band
The Brass Band of St. Constance has been first organized and officially commenced its existence in 2004. Mieczyslaw Kmiecik was the main pioneer and initiator under whose leadership the Brass band was formally created. He has intrigued the residing Pastor Thaddeus (Ted) Dzieszko with his idea for the Brass Band and acquired his blessings for this noble project. It was because of the Pastor Thaddeus Dzieszko’s incredible resourcefulness, creativity and ingenuity that the Brass Band was able to obtain a major grant from the Polish American Congress, and more specifically its honorable President Edward Moskal. The initial planning and implementations process proved to be long and difficult but because of the zealousness and dedication of its original members the St. Constance Brass Band was able to give its first official concert during the Resurrection Mass on April 11, 2004. Some of the original members were as follows: Mieczyslaw Krol, Roman Czaicki, Marcin Czaicki, Aneta Kolosa, Stanislaw Polak, Marek Jonczyk, Karol Kmiecik, Mieczyslaw Kmiecik.
