Mathematics

 

In our program Mathematics: Exploring Your World, our students discover the important role mathematics plays in their everyday lives by pursuing educational goals that reflect the importance of mathematical literacy:

Our students: 

1) Learns to value mathematics 
2) Become confident in their own abilities 
3) Become mathematical problem solvers 
4) Learn to communicate effectively 
5) and learn to reason mathematically.

In our mathematic program students will learn different methods of problem solving.

Our students: 

1) Learn to use estimation to solve problems as well as finding the exact answers 
2) Draw pictures, make models 
3) Make and use tables, charts, and graphs 
4) Use manipulative for hands-on experiences 
5) Use mental math 
6) Use calculators and computers and 
7) Use a combination of methods.

Mathematics: Exploring Your World is a program that helps our students learn the mathematics they need to know for daily living in the real world.
