This Week Letter – December 22, 2019
Christmas, 2019
Dear Parishioners
At a religion class, the catechist asked the children who the most important person is during the Christmas season? Some children answered: Santa Claus; others Jesus. What do you think? I think that Jesus is the reason for the season and He is more important than Santa because:
Santa lives at the North Pole ……………………… JESUS is everywhere
Santa comes but once a year ……………………… JESUS is an ever – present help
Santa lets you sit on his lap ………………………. JESUS lets you rest in His arms
Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly ………… JESUS has a heart full of love.
All Santa can offer is “HO HO HO” ………………… JESUS offers HEALTH, HELP, AND HOPE
If you also think that Jesus is the reason for the season join us for a
CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION AT ST. CONSTANCE PARISH.
Here you can meet Jesus and take Him home because He came from Heaven to Earth for you. Come, because I want to thank you personally for your love, care, and generosity toward Christ’s Church and our Parish. I embrace with priestly love and prayers every family, especially the children, the sick, and the homebound.
May the Newborn Jesus remain in your heart and family and bring you closer
to God and to one another.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
With prayers and love, Fr. Rich Milek
