This Week Letter – June 7, 2020
Brothers and Sisters,
It is with great joy that we can approach the Lord’s Table, together. We are starting by organizing smaller groups so that the Eucharistic meeting becomes even more communal, so that we are not strangers.
Today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Holy Trinity. In a very real sense, each Sunday is dedicated to God, and therefore each one belongs to the Holy Trinity. After Pentecost, the Church invites us to live this day to help everyone focus more clearly on what Love God has called us to.
The whole Mass is communion with the Trinity. We begin it in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and we end every Mass with the blessing of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. However, the liturgy should never be separated from everyday life, which is why we should learn how love each other like the Holy Trinity.
Today, we thank God for the calling us to this communion of love, and we ask Him for help. God knows what we need so that we can truly be men and women in communion with His love and testify it by words and deeds in the world we live in. Glory be to the Holy Trinity!
Your priest,
Fr. Paul
