DEAR FRIENDS AND FAMILY SRB SCHOOL:

My name is Fr. Robert J. Łojek and I am very grateful for being appointed by His Eminence Blasé J. Cupich to serve at St. Robert Bellarmine and St. Constance as pastor.

I have been a priest since 2003, ordained for the Archdiocese of Chicago. I was born in Southern Poland in a town called Białka Tatrzańska, and I grew up in a small village called Trybsz. My parents and my sister still live in Poland.

While studying for the priesthood at Wroclaw Seminary, I decided to respond to an invitation to study at Orchard Lake Seminary and later was transferred to Chicago’s Mundelein Seminary, where I finished my education and formation. The decision was difficult for me to make but I realized that we cannot count only on ourselves but must leave some room in our lives for God and His plans for us. I arrived in Chicago 22 years ago.

My Pastoral Internship was at St. Tarcissius Parish with my Clinical Education at the University Hospital of Denver, Colorado. After my ordination to the priesthood in 2003 I was assigned to St. Richard’s Parish. Saint Constance Parish was my following assignment. My first parish as a pastor was St. William Parish where I have resided for seven years and four Years as pastor of St. Francis Borgia. I was also as Dean for 9 years in Deanery IV D.

I plan to meet all of my people of both campuses and school to know each other so we can   work together as a team. I am also looking forward to working jointly with the School, Religious Education Program, and all organizations here at SRB and St Constance. The best wishes to our children and Faculty and also our principle and stuff. See you soon.

May God keep us all safe. God Bless you.

Father Robert Lojek

Pastor
