This Week Letter – December 30, 2018
From the Pastor’s Desk…
Today we celebrate the feast of the Holy Family to whom I entrust every family in our parish and each of your extended families. I wish to encompass you all in my pastoral concern, love and prayer. Keep the Newly-born Christ in your hearts and in your families. These holy days will endure as long as Christ lives in you.
As another year comes to a close, we ought to give thanks to God. For this reason, I invite everyone to come to Mass for the end of the Old Year on Monday, December 31st at 4:30pm. Then, on Tuesday, January 1st, we celebrate the Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God or New Year. It is a Holy Day of Obligation as well as an International Day of Prayer for World Peace. I strongly urge you to begin your New Year with God by participating at Mass. New Year’s Day Masses follow the Sunday schedule.
Old Year -– Many events
New Year — Many dreams
Consequences hinging on man
Depend on
How much he entrusts to God!
Happy New Year! God bless!
