From the Pastor’s Desk

            God the Father, calling us into life, provided us with various talents.  For every person, He prepared a singular and unique pathway; if we follow it we will find satisfaction and peace.  God does not, however, force His plan upon us.  Rather, He sends us an invitation and patiently awaits our response.   He Himself is faithful and expects faithfulness from us also.  Let us decide to follow Him and take that decision seriously as a commitment for our entire life.  Let us not look back at our life, but walk forward courageously down the path prepared for us by our Lord.

Thanks to all who helped organize and to those who participated in the Mass and Procession for Corpus Christi.  It was a wonderful affirmation of  unity and faith in the true presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist.  Many thanks are extended to those who prepared the altars; to those who carried the banners, the statues, and the canopy; to the brass band; and to the parents who brought their first communicants and the children who strew the flower petals.  God reward you!
